Cooperation with GBIF
GBIF – Global Biodiversity Information Facility is an organisation that provides an access platform to information on world biodiversity. It works as a distributed information structure, aggregating biodiversity data, with a special focus on organismal level of biological diversity and distributional data. GBIF brings together many countries and international organisations (see GBIF members). Poland has been actively participating in the global network since the beginning of its existence, having status of a Voting Participant since 2017.
